RIP Herbert Achternbusch

The great filmmaker Herbert Achternbusch has passed away.

In 1990 Herbert Achternbusch received the Award of the City of Hof. In the early years of the International Hof Film Festival, his films DER JUNGE MÖNCH (1978), DER KOMANTSCHE (1979) and DAS GESPENST (1982) were not the only ones to set the HoF cinema halls ablaze. And his work will continue to do so, even if it must now be said: RIP.
