ANTHROPOZÄNTA is a residency and exhibition format of contemporary art organized by artists that deals with the multiple phenomena, connections and consequences of non-human and human existence. Based on the research conducted during their residency, four young international artists developed new works that respond to the region and its socio-political, economic and ecological history.
ANTHROPOZÄNTA defines itself as an open format that aims to promote discourse, encounters and community. For two months, a vacant business space in the middle of the city center, which used to house a travel agency, will become the central meeting point for encounters, discussions and interaction.
