HoF Filmtage Rendezvous presents GONDOLA at Koki Hannover

On Thursday, 30 November 2023 at 19.00 the monthly HoF Filmtage Rendezvous screening takes place again at the Kommunales Kino Hannover. With the "fresh-from-the-fest" it is Veit Helmer's GONDOLA, which will be shown first time after its German premiere at the 57th Hof International Film Festival (HoF IFF) which will be released theatrically on 7 March 2024. Guests include the lead actress Mathilde Irrmann and HoF IFF Artistic Director Thorsten Schaumann.

In the Georgian mountains, a cable car connects a village with a smaller town in the valley. Halfway through the journey, the gondolas cross each other every half hour. This is precisely the moment when Iva and Nino, the conductors of the gondolas, meet each other's eyes and romance starts.
