MEMORY OF WATER in cinemas

Since Thursday, 08.06.2023, the sci-fi thriller MEMORY OF WATER (distributed by Real Fiction/56th International Hof Film Festival) by Saara Saarela has been showing in German cinemas.

Based on the successful novel with the same title by Emmi Itäranta, the film is set in a distant future. There is hardly any water left, and a military dictatorship rules the world. When young Nuria becomes the new tea master after her father dies, she inherits with the title at the same time a secret that has been hidden for a long time. Now she must embark on a dangerous journey to ensure the survival of her people.
