At the Pavilion in Hanover on Monday, 20 February 2023, HOMESHOPPERS' PARADISE (56th International Hof Film Festival) by Nancy McCranaky-Quaye will be screened as part of Cinema Night Black Her*History Month 2023 (free admission).
Lisa (Jane Chirwa), a rebellious punk, lives with her gang in a construction trailer on a squatted lot. When the eviction squad is at the gates and wants money, Lisa enters the den of capitalism and hires on as a presenter at a home shopping channel.
