Nothing is as exciting as being taken on forays into unknown spaces. That’s exactly what we’re doing at the next HoF Rendezvous. Saturday, 27 March 2021 at 7:00 p.m. takes us to transience with EXIT: OPEN. Our “kidnappers” are Laura Andreß, Victoria Halper and Kai Krösche:
We walk through the empty rooms of an abandoned office complex. In each room we look around, meet different “witnesses of death”. These are people with near-death experiences, terminally ill people, dying people, relatives and those who professionally deal with the dying and the dead. A hybrid between film and intensive 1:1 performance.
EXIT: OPEN is a gripping opportunity to face the incomprehensible and to look death in the eye from a direct distance and safe proximity. This evening is guaranteed to provide a lot of discussion material for our directors Laura Andreß, Victoria Halper and Kai Krösche. How good that all three of them will join us at the talk after the film.
This HoF Rendezvous is also free of charge. Of course, there is the possibility to purchase a donation ticket with a freely selectable amount. All proceeds will go directly to the artists. Our thanks go to our Rendezvous supporters: Central Kino-Hof, Rotary Club Hof and » Kino on Demand.
Since 2017, the Hof International Film Festival has been organizing the HoF Rendezvous under the motto “let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and the Lodderbast in Hanover. These are screenings organized throughout the year as part of the Hof International Film Festival. The filmmakers also present their films in person. By doing this, we allow the festival to have further impact and increase the anticipation for the next festival edition. And at the same time, the filmmakers are promoted once again through our communication channels.
Currently, the HoF Rendezvous takes place with the support of the Rotary Club Hof as well as Kino on Demand in the virtual Central Kino online and live with an audience chat.
