Naja inherits an old fire engine and a house in Norway from her father, whom she has never met. She has to accept the inheritance together with her half-sister Hannah, whom she never knew about. The start, as the two of them set off for Norway, could be more ideal ... closely followed by Naja’s therapy group, who feel let down.
WENN FLIEGEN TRÄUMEN is a whimsical road movie with quirky characters. “A film that is refreshingly out of the ordinary” (Berliner Morgenpost), which had its world premiere at the Hof International Film Festival 2018 and must be seen again!
During the talk we are looking forward to director and producer Katharina Wackernagel as well as screenwriter and co-producer Jonas Grosch. After the official part, the informal talk for all will continue without a live broadcast.

Since 2017, the Hof International Film Festival has been organizing the HoF Rendezvous under the motto “let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and the Lodderbast in Hanover. These are screenings organized throughout the year as part of the Hof International Film Festival. The filmmakers also present their films in person. By doing this, we allow the festival to have further impact and increase the anticipation for the next festival edition. And at the same time, the filmmakers are promoted once again through our communication channels.
The HoF Rendezvous currently takes place live and online in the virtual Central Kino with audience chats and with the support of the Rotary Club Hof and Kino on Demand.
