We’ll find out at the next HoF Rendezvous at the virtual Central Kino on Sunday, 27 June 2021 at 8:00 pm with director-producer-co-writer Thomas Fischer and our audience in Germany, Austria and Switzerland:
An ancient secret society and a series of recent deaths. Is there a connection? Florian finds index cards in his mother’s papers that point to deaths long in the past. A search that is not without danger begins.
In the feature film LIBRA, the old world meets present day and is full of suspense; much like the rendezvous with cinema meets online. We’ll talk to Thomas Fischer and co-writer Uwe Kotschner from Filmtheaterforum e.V. about their indie production.
As special guest we’ll also welcome Magdalena Bayreuther, who will tell us all about the state of the HoF exhibition “55 years of Charm Instead of Glamour” and “why the Hof International Film Festival doesn’t need a red carpet.”
A big thank you goes out to our Rendezvous partners Central Kino Hof, Rotary Club Hof and » Kino on Demand. Thanks to them the event is free of charge. However, you are welcome to purchase donation tickets with a freely selectable amount. All proceeds will go to the filmmaker.
Since 2017, the Hof International Film Festival has been organizing the HoF Rendezvous under the motto “let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and at the Lodderbast in Hanover. These are screenings organized throughout the year as part of the Hof International Film Festival. The filmmakers also present their films in person. By doing this, we allow the festival to have further impact and increase the anticipation for the next festival edition. And at the same time, the filmmakers are promoted once again through our communication channels.
Since November 2020, the HoF Rendezvous takes place every weekend with the support of the Rotary Club Hof as well as Kino on Demand in the virtual Central Kino online and live with an audience chat.
