HAYAT JUMPS wins the German Human Rights Film Award 2022 in the Category “Education”

    German Human Rights Film Award 2022 in the category "Education" for HAYAT JUMPS by Miriam Goeze

    Congratulations to director Miriam Goeze, who received the German Human Rights Film Award 2022 in the category "Education" with her short feature film HAYAT JUMPS (55th Hof International Film Festival). Her film emerged as the award winner from a total of 385 submitted productions.

    The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, 10 December 2022, Human Rights Day, at 7 p.m. in Nuremberg's Tafelhalle and will be streamed live.

    Nine-year-old Hayat lives with her father in a refugee shelter. She loves to have fun with her friends - and is annoyed by her father, who always wants to have his peace. The story of a summer day in which Hayat dares to do more than just sneak through the window.
